Very interesting times for us all at this moment. The Economy continues to struggle to find a rebound. The Stock market is up and down each week. where do we go from here. My great concern for our clients and future customers is carrying the proper insurance on the one of 2 of their largest possessions, their home. the sale price of homes has continuously dropped over the past 12 months, and maybe finally stabilized. Many new carriers have entered the market, Starr Aviation has been actively persuing business since Hank Greenberg left AIG in 2006, as well as Travelers Insurance entering the field. I just received the renewal package from Chubb. There was a slight increase in the premium which is quite reasonable and acceptable. I want to thank you for getting me covered by Chubb three years ago.

We lived on Kiawah Island when Hurricane Hugo paid us a visit on September 20, 1989. Our Governor declared Marshall Law and a mandatory evacuation order went out to the National Guard with orders to have all residents leave before the Hurricane made landfall. When we returned five days later so many trees had fallen that our home was barely visible from the street. We suffered more than $130,000 in damages to our home and compared to so many others, we were very fortunate that it wasn’t worse. For years we were covered with Chubb Insurance. Within days, the Chubb representative was there to meet with us. He wrote a check to cover our immediate needs, made arrangements for a Structural Engineer, Architect and a Construction Cost Engineer to determine the reconstruction cost estimate needed to rebuild our home to the same condition that we had before the hurricane hit. A check was sent for $128,500 within days. The Chubb representative met with us several more times during the following months and gave us reassurance that more funds were available if needed. He continued to follow our efforts with phone calls every week or so for months to be sure we were recovering and the rebuilding process was proceeding smoothly.
When we purchased our current home in Belfair last year, the first contingency was we “MUST” be covered with Homeowners Insurance from Chubb or we would not proceed with the purchase. We have been and are very confident that Chubb will be there to handle our needs “IF” we ever face another emergency or claim.

Hi Rob: I wanted you to know how impressed I have been by your activities as my insurance broker. Kemper, our insurance carrier for our car, a carrier you placed us with and one which you worked with to write our policy, has likewise been exemplary in its dealings with us. You have been on top of things from the moment that the accident happened until present. Your calls and emails to insure that we understood our coverage and that Kemper was working well with us were very helpful and really appreciated. Your willingness to go out of your way and obtain some things we left in the car and deliver them to us was above and beyond the call of duty. The most important thing however is the policy itself. Knowing that I am not very sophisticated about insurance policies you really made certain that we had a great policy. With only a $1,000 deductible we ended up receiving an amount for the “total loss” of the car with which we are very satisfied; the $5,000 in personal injury coverage and the generous rental car program were coverages frankly I didn’t even know I had and were a great relief in the midst of my recovery
All of my contacts with Kemper have been excellent. Each of their representatives has been efficient, cordial and responsive. They all answered my questions completely and knowledgably and evinced real professionalism. Furthermore, as I said above, the policy was super responsive to all of our needs during a difficult time.
I don’t know what else to say but I am really glad to have you looking after us and am really happy to have Kemper as our auto insurer. We have the best, clearly, and what more can I ask for?
